What do you do all day?

March 24, 2008
Joe: What do full time realtors do all day? I mean, since your clients work during the day…what do you do?

Answerman: We read termite reports…looking for that happy check box: “No visible evidence of wood destroying insects”

Joe: Have you ever seen “visible evidence” of carpenter ants?

Answerman: Yes Joe…carpenter ants make little semi-curlicues on the surface of wood. You can see where they have been, often on the rafters in basements. Usually the treatment is done by drilling holes in the dirt outside the house and applying treatment. A recent one cost $180 paid for by the seller, as stipulated in the contract.

Tim: Does the treatment hurt the ants?

Answerman: Not really…the pest treatment specialist posts really tiny signs in ant language that say “KEEP OUT!” And “NO TRESSPASSING”. There have been reports of ants having to undergo therapy to learn how to handle rejection… but that is a good thing…the first step to a healthy ant mind.

Tim:…..Thanks I was worried….I feel much better now.
